The church is available to hire for concerts, events and exhibitions. The main nave area seats up to 300 people auditorium style with minimal restricted view of the stage area in front of the screen. The total capacity for the main body of the church is 500.

The parish hall at St Wilfrid Harrogate is an unique venue for parties, celebrations, events, concerts and performances.  You can also hire the hall during the week for regular exercise classes, workshops, mother and toddler groups , uniformed organisations and dance or singing groups. At weekends the venue is ideal for childrens’ parties, family celebrations and smaller events for up to 200 people.

SWH Terms and Conditions of hall hire 2023

The Parish Room at St Wilfrid Harrogate is next to the Parish Hall. The Parish Room is an ideal space to hire for meetings of up to 20 people and comes equipped with tables and chairs, as well as it’s own kitchen and access to the car park. A large projector screen, projector and stand are also available for a small additional fee.

Harrogate International Music Festival have used St Wilfrid Harrogate annually for concerts by artists including the Armonico Consort, Steven Isserlis, Oz Clarke, the Kamus String Quartet to name but a few. The church has a wonderful acoustic for choral and chamber music.
