PCC and Governance
Like all parish churches in the Church of England, the Parochial Church Council (PCC) is a body of clergy and congregation members tasked with co-operating to further the ministry and mission of the parish.
The PCC has responsibility for the oversight of policy and budget setting as well as specific functions in law.
Much of the work of the PCC is delegated to staff, groups or individuals who provide the strategic day to day work required to make everything function.
The clergy, church wardens, secretary, treasurer, and staff form a close working team. What you might see on a Sunday morning is only the tip of the iceberg of the work to maintain and develop everything we do at St Wilfrid’s.
